Building Transformation were asked to provide a fresh solution to the client that would enable them to change the colour and visual impact of the building façade as well as increasing the energy performance of the building fabric.
Ashford Council were looking for a façade restoration solution in order to change the colour of the building while maintaining and increasing the performance of the façade.
The building was in use, so we also had to ensure we did not disturb the tenants or compromise their safety.
Using drones, we were able to review the thermal imaging of the building and create three façade programmes that took into account the need for increased energy performance. We provided the client with the solutions and allow them to decide which option we would implement based upon design and budget decisions.
